Mercy Housing contacted us to recommend renovations to keep 15 units of low-cost elderly housing in the Bayview District comfortable for the next 30 years. Muller & Caulfield has performed several site visits for building condition analysis, and is currently in the process of finalizing construction documents. Virtually all residential units will receive extensive upgrades, the building will be re-roofed, and code, and egress and accessibility issues will be addressed.
Additional opportunities to improve included energy efficiency, aesthetics, and conversion of standard units to accessible units to facilitate "aging in place."
