PROJECT DETAILS

3824 West Street is owned by the City of Oakland, and managed by East Oakland Community Project for the purpose of providing low-income housing to a large family. It is currently in use as emergency shelter for battered women, until repairs on the building are completed. Once they are done it will be available in its previous use.
Muller & Caulfield is providing plans for general building upgrades, including replacement of the two entry porches, replacement of windows, new shingles front and back and painting exterior throughout. Plans call for the removal of all extraneous and abandoned wiring on the outside of the building. Inside we call for re-building the second floor bathroom and kitchen.
