landscaping, access to mass transportation, reduction of light pollution,
and efficient wastewater/ stormwater management.

Joseph Parish Campus
Resource Conservation
Our master plan for this nine building campus will reduce its impact
on the urban environment by retaining existing trees & open spaces, using
local materials, reusing existing buildings, management of construction waste,
and systems for storage & collection of recyclables.
Energy Efficiency
Using a 3D cad program, we studied the effect of shading on an existing student structure during peak seasons and at different times of day. As a result, we were able to demonstrate to our client the impact of building orientation, cross ventilation, and natural lighting on energy conservation and cost of operation.
